There is one restaurant within walking distance of us :

Roam West, Inchree – around 10 minutes on foot from Lochview, a friendly local pub serving hearty meals based on local ingredients, along with excellent draught beer from the also very local Ardgour Ales (you can visit their micro-brewery and occasional pizzeria via a short walk and trip on the Corran Ferry).

The following restaurants are all within a short drive:

The Lochleven Seafood Cafe, near North Ballachulish – a favourite with our guests and one of the best places to eat in the area, specialising in super-fresh seafood, caught locally by their own boat. Very relaxed dining. Booking essential.

The Laroch Restaurant and Bar, Ballachulish – highly rated modern Scottish cuisine in a village pub.

The Holly Tree, Kentallen – choose between the main restaurant, serving a variety of bistro-style dishes, or the more relaxed “Captain’s Bar”. Stunning views across Loch Linnhe.

The Clachaig, Glencoe – a proper Highland inn with real ale, malt whisky and no-nonsense food. Regular live folk music in the “Boots Bar”. Very popular with walkers and climbers.

Garrison West, Fort William – great little pub on the High Street in Fort William, serving good modern pub food.

The Geographer, Fort William – on the High Street again, serving a range of international dishes.

Ben Nevis Inn, Fort William – at the end of Achintee Road, Fort William. Quite literally at the foot of Ben Nevis, a lively and popular pub, and a great place to finish if you’ve just climbed “The Ben”.

The Pierhouse Hotel, Port Appin – take a pleasant 35 minute drive south of Lochview to the idyllic harbour of Port Appin and the stylish Pierhouse Hotel. Serves good quality, modern Scottish dishes based on local produce, along with a proper Sunday lunch. Combine your visit with a trip to Lismore on the tiny, foot-passenger only ferry that leaves from in front of the hotel.

The Old Inn, Portnacroish, Appin – situated near to and with views of Castle Stalker, around 25 minutes drive south of Lochview. Very old pub offering good pub food, generally including locally produced steaks as a speciality.
